Our Staff
We are very pleased to have such a wonderful staff. Take a minute to find out who we are!
Kelly Williams (formerly Kelly Cain) Business owner and founder.
I love Imagine That! and Future Tech! I created this business in 1995 after realizing that I loved teaching children more than I loved Engineering. I have a Masters Degree in Environmental Engineering from Georgia Tech. This is a graduate program of Civil Engineering. I worked for the Environmental Protection Agency until my children were 1 and 3. I decided to take some time off at that point to spend more time with them. During that time I began teaching science and art (my other passion) as a volunteer at my church and at my children’s preschool and elementary school. Before that, I did not have any idea how much I loved teaching children. I decided then that I would make this my new career goal. I incorporated three of my favorite subjects together into one program and I created Imagine That! Originally it was a combined program of Science, Art and Creative Dramatics. I approached the schools where my children attended to see if I could offer the program after school and I was met with enthusiasm. The rest is history. We have grown as a business over these years and last summer (2010) we had over 1600 children in our camps and 400 students a week in our classes. My two daughters are both teachers for Imagine That! when not in school. Cassidy is an Early Childhood Education major (Imagine That!) at Georgia State and Brittony is about to graduate with a Psychology degree from UGA. I am married to a wonderful man named Chuck. I love Whitewater Kayaking, painting, gardening and dancing (Ballroom, Cajun and Contra).
I could not do it without my wonderful employees who make it all happen so I would like to take the opportunity to introduce them. As you will see we have a wonderful diversity in background that creates a wealth of information to be shared with your children. In addition to those listed below, we have about 50 additional employees during the summer to teach our camps. Most of these are teachers during the year that work with us during the summer.
