Our new schedule for 2012 and 2013 is here! Are you looking for something exciting for your child during the Winter Break? We are holding exciting winter break camps at four locations throughout Atlanta including Dunwoody, Decatur, Alpharetta and Buckhead.
- Ages 4-14.
- Register for one day or all of the days!! There will not be any repeat of activities at any individual location.
- Let your child experience all of our exciting subjects including Robotics, Art, Science and Technology. Some days are combinations and some days will be independent subjects.
- Programs are 6 hours with optional early and late care. To register on-line please go to our camp on-line registration.
- Fees:
- Early Registration discount is available up to one week prior to start.
- Fee $58 [early]; $62/day [regular]. Add $4/day for Indoor Play locations.
- 10% discount if you register for 3 or more days. Discount cannot be combined with any other offer or discount. Discount not available on extended care.
- Times:
- Camps are held from 8:30 am—2:30 pm daily. Optional extended care available from 2:30-5:30 ($12/day)
Subjects:
Technology, Programming and Robotics
- TechnoMania for Ages 5-11: We will introduce students to the world of computers as we build new and exciting robots from the LEGO® Education WeDo™ Robotics Construction Set and build with the LEGO motorized and simple machines set. Activities will be age appropriate.
- Robo Tech (Ages 8-14): Build your robot and learn programming as you problem-solve the challenges involved in this LEGO® NXT MINDSTORM® curriculum. The students will learn how programming works and will enjoy seeing the robots perform the task assigned. The robots will use many different sensors in order to respond to their environment
- Scratch Computer Programming (Ages 8-14) Learn how to create your own anime cartoon, game or interactive story on a computer with drop and drag programming. Share them on the web!
TechnoScience:
Half of the program will be Technology and half the Science subject outline in table below.
- Option 1 Science: Egypt Learn how they moved giant stones and make a Sarcophagus.
- Option 2: Science: Hawaiian Treasure Hunt -Kauai
- Option 3: Science: Lasers, Lights and Mirrors
- Technology for Ages 5-11: We will introduce students to the world of computers as we build new and exciting robots from the LEGO® Education WeDo™ Robotics Construction Set and build with the LEGO motorized and simple machines set. Activities will be age appropriate.
Artrageous Art Adventures
- Children will love creating and developing artistic abilities as they draw and paint with different media and explore exciting craft projects using modeling clay and other materials.
Science Discoveries:
- Option 5 Science: Physics Fancies
- Learn how to build a Hydrometer and Submarine!
- Understand Physics and Structures and build, build, build!
- Option 6 Science: Flight of Fancy: Understand and practice the principals of flight
- Option 7 Science: Hawaiian Treasure Hunt-Intro and Oahu
- Option 8 Science: Egg Drop
World Explorers: Art and Science Combinations:

Refund policy for Winter Camps:There is a non-refundable fee of $20/camp day. The remainder of
the fee is refundable up to 1 week prior to the camp start date. After that
time, there are no refunds available.
